Description
MVP classifies as a Mitzvah Project and as a way to get involved as a volunteer even before high school. It is geared towards boys and girls in 6th – 8th grade.
MVP gives pre-teens an opportunity to do a Mitzvah Project on something that will truly impact their lives. It will change the way participants view others, act towards one another, the community, society and more importantly, the way they view themselves. It is the perfect way for boys and girls to prepare for their Bar/ Bat Mitzvah.
The curriculum created for MVP will include multimedia presentations and other interactive activities. Over the course of 6 weeks we aim to cover a broad spectrum of important topics, including vital knowledge about various disabilities and an anti-bullying sensitivity program.
The finale will be implementing all the young teens have learned with hands on volunteering at Friendship Circle Programs.
If you would like to arrange a time for the Friendship Circle to speak with your future Bar/ Bat Mitzvah child, or for more information, please contact Moushkie 732-536-2319 ext. 210 or moushkie@friendsnj.com
